KTM AG, an Austrian company manufacturing touring and sports bikes, had formed a partnership with Bajaj Group in 2007.
In India, KTM bikes have introduced four of their models. The first bike that came out from their stables is KTM Duke 200. The Duke 200 has a 200 cc, 25 bhp, 19 Nm torque liquid cooled engine with injector fuel system and digital ignition giving mileages of 35 kmpl. This bike has 6 speed manual transmission with a wet clutch. This bike weighs 136 kg and has a wheel base of 1040 mm and ground clearance of 165 mm.

The Duke 390 ABS was launched in 2012. It is powered by a 373 cc, 44 bhp, 35 Nm torque liquid cooled engine with fuel injection and contactless digital ignition. The Duke 390 weighs 139 kg and has a wheel base of 1367 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm. The bike takes only 2.6 seconds from 0 to 60 kmph acceleration and has a top speed is 160 kmph.

The KTM RC 200 is an entry level sports bike which is a budget track oriented two-wheeler. It has a 199 cc, 25 bhp, 19 Nm torque liquid cooled engine with injectors and spark ignition. The bike weighs 147 kg and has a wheel base of 1355 mm and a ground clearance of 178 mm. The bike has 280 mm disc brake at the front and 230 mm disc brake at the rear. The KTM RC 390 is a super sports bike. The 373 cc, 43 bhp, 35 Nm torque engine has fuel injection and spark ignition. It has a fuel efficiency of 26 kmpl. The RC 390 weighs 159 kg and has a wheel base of 1355 mm and a ground clearance of 178 mm.

The Duke 200 is priced at Rupees 1,36,147, the 390 Duke ABS is priced at Rupees 1,87,780, the RC 200 is priced at Rupees 1,64,241 and the RC 390 is priced at Rupees 2,10,561.
The KTM bikes have tubular chassis with telescopic upside down forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. The brakes are 300 mm disc at the front and 230 mm disc at the rear. The tyres are 17" tubeless on alloy wheels.
The all digital console of the KTM bikes have a speedometer, a tachometer, 2 trip meters, a fuel gauge, a digital clock and low fuel, low oil and low battery indications. The 390 Duke ABS and the RC 390 have the safety feature ABS.
