Saturday, January 31, 2015

Hero Hunk is a 150 cc motorcycle launched by Hero Honda in 2007. In 2011, Hero MotoCorp gave the Hunk a facelift, offering it with the option of a rear disc brake.
Hero Honda went on to become the largest motorcycle maker in the country and a household name. They continued to remain a monopoly till Bajaj totally changed the game of Indian motorcycling with the "Pulsar 150". Since then, the 150 cc segment has grown to become hotter and more exciting. They introduced the Hunk; they had launched the CBZ before that. The 150 cc segment has grown manifold since the Pulsar bikes were launched. But of late, the Pulsar bikes are finding it hard against the Hero Hunk. Let's check out how if it has the potential to be a game changer!

It also has minuscule additional fairings near the front shocks at the wheel arch location. The tail lights look nice with LED lights in it. All back finish has been provided to the engine, and exhaust tail pipe. The rear view mirrors have some solid amount of support material. The length height and width of the Hunk is 2080 mm, 1095 mm, 765 mm respectively. It sports an eye catching design with an edgy cowl, a well-shaped visor, muscular fuel tank, and low positioned seat.

The seating is upright and this makes it a perfectly suitable candidate for long journeys. The pillion seat is also quite comfortable. The Hunk gets twin GRS adjustable shocks at the rear and telescopic ones at the front. The kerb weight of 146 kg makes it less agile when manoeuvring. The bike gets standard 240 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear for quick stops. The Hero Hunk offers a fuel tank with a capacity to hold 12.4-litres of fuel.
